Coming To The UK Theme Parks in 2021.

So the 2020 season is over and I can’t even begin to express how gutted I am by it. For the short space of time we were given to play with we had an absolute ball. But I thought I’d pop this post together as a positive way to look forward to what’s set to come next year! Of course, this is going by best case scenario but I want to keep our little part of the internet as positive as possible. Let’s begin shall we?

Thorpe Park – Black Mirror The Labyrinth:

I personally don’t know much about this TV series however no doubt this will be a fab attraction for Thorpe Park next season. Far as we are aware it’ll be opening in Spring 2021 & is a live experience walk through. It’s also the worlds first of this attraction which is always exciting. Are you excited to experience this attraction?

Legoland Windsor – Mythica :

We’ve seen regular investment at Legoland Windsor for the last few years, next year is no different. Next season is Legoland Windsor’s 25th anniversary. A brand new area called Mythica is set to open in Spring 2021. This area is set to theatre the UKs first flying theatre. Alongside the whole newly themed area. This is one of the investments for next UK theme park season we are personally excited for.

Alton Towers – Gangsta Granny/World of David Walliams:

This area was set to open earlier this year but unfortunately COVID had other ideas. But it’s now something we can all look forward to in 2021. This is an area we’ve been really excited to experience for a little while. We’ve written a whole blog post which I’ll leave linked HERE to have a read through.

Paultons Park – Tornado Spring:

Just like Alton Towers they had to postpone this area for another year, we were gutted. However Spring 2021 the latest edition to Paultons Park is set to open. The area looks beautiful from all the teaser we’ve seen across social media. This area includes a brand new Gyro Swing, Mack Spinning Coaster, Driving School, Restaurant & more family editions & plenty of theming. Flamingo Land – Inversion:

Another newbie which unfortunately got delayed until next season. The brand new 10 looping rollercoaster coming to Flamingoland. I’m not entirely sure it has a name as of yet or a rough timescale of when it’s set to open. However it does have lap bars something we’ve all wanted to see on Colossus. I do believe the layout is going to be similar to Colossus if not cloned but of course it’ll be a different experience given the restraint changes. It’s something we are really excited to experience.

Chessington World of Adventures – Croc Drop:

I’ll be honest I ain’t 100% keen on the name. This is a brand new drop tower which looks to be similar to Magma at Paultons Park. It’s always going to be themed around a crocodile which you will leave & return into its mouth. This site used to be the home for Rameses Revenge which always felt a bit out of place been surrounded by family-based rides & attractions. We are very excited to see the outcome of the construction work & experience this attraction next year!
