Extinct UK Rollercoaster That Would’ve Made Our Bucket List

There’s of course a fair few rollercoasters that sadly are no longer operating. So whilst remembering them I thought I’d pop whatever ones I feel would of been part of my bucket list. As always I’d love to know yours!!

Corkscrew – Alton Towers:

Seriously, this is a deceased bucket list coaster for sure. The fact it was the start of what is Alton Towers today is iconic. Plus this rollercoaster type is a current bucket list one for me.

Batflyer – Lightwater Valley:

I mean come on who wouldn’t add this to their list?? Suspended family rollercoaster with an elevator lift hill. Like that’s insane and sounds rather fun but slightly intimidating too.

Cyclone – Southport Pleasureland:

Come on it’s a wooden coaster and I’m utterly in love with these types of coaster. But it was also created by the guy who built Grand National. It looks so fab as well. I’ll forever feel sad over the fact I never got to experience this coaster.

King Solomon’s Mines – Southport Pleasureland

As much as I’m not keen on the more Wild Mouse rollercoaster models. It’s still one more which once existed in the UK. Even though I hate these coaster types I just wish I got to experience this one as well.

Looping Star – Dreamland MARGATE:

I believe there could of been two types of this named coaster. But I’m talking about the original. Manufactured by Schwarzkopf and I do believe we haven’t experienced of their coasters before. But this coaster looked so much fun!!

Texas Tornado – FrontierLand

Another wooden rollercoaster has invaded on the list, are you surprised? Probs not haha. But yeah, this is another coaster which I would of loved to be in my bucket list. Another wooden coaster by the same guy who designed Grand National. That alone makes me wonder how incredible that would of been to experience.

Did you manage to ride any of these deceased rollercoasters? If so let me know how they were!!
