4 Perks Of Staying On-Site at Disneyland Paris:

If you’re someone who’s looking to book a visit to Disneyland Paris and is not sure if it’s beneficial to stay on Disney property, here’s a little blog of the perks we’ve found from doing so ourselves.

Easy Access To The Parks & Easy Booking:

When staying on-site you’ll have the added perk of magic hours which is exclusive time before the official opening time of the park. You also receive this perk if staying at the Davy Crocket Ranch  which is a short drive away. But on-site in the main hotels all of which are a walk away from the park especially the ones around the Disney Village like Newport Bay, Sequoia Lodge & Hotel New York. There is also a shuttle bus service provided for free. You can always nip back to the hotel and not forfeit too much time and it really helps to make the most of your stuff just having your base within reach of a hand. It’s also lovely and straightforward to book. Simply using their website to input your dates and all your tickets are sorted in one space. I’m uncertain what works out the cheapest option but we prefer to opt for the effortless method and stress-free which is booking directly via their website.

Meal Plan Options:

Whilst staying on-site you’ll have the opportunity to add on meal plans. There are different tiers so researching what better suits you and your typical eating habits is always best. We always used to opt for the half board which gives you a choice of restaurants for dinner and breakfast in the morning. Also means you can enjoy the eateries without overthinking your budget at the time. Whereas this November we’re trying the full board standard. Having Liara means we sit down for 3 meals as I know there are a lot of people who find the full board too much as it just feels like all you do is eat! But I’ll report back how this works for us & share a full review!

Full Disney Experience:

You don’t leave Disney property the entirety of your stay therefore the Disney experience doesn’t end. Hotel guests do get meet & greets in the evening and morning too. There are shops in all hotels as well. Not to forget the themed rooms and hotels too even if some of them are subtle it just sweetens that magic. The majority of the on-site hotels also have swimming pools that typically open all year except when they are undergoing maintenance. It just helps expand the fun beyond park closing times.

Shop Delivery:

If you’re shopping at the parks you can have your purchases sent across to the hotel you are staying at saving you from carrying them around all day. This also includes Davy Crockett Ranch. I believe the minimum spend is €50 and it’ll be free to be dropped off at your hotel.

We love staying on-site at Disneyland Paris and this time we’ve opted to try the Davy Crocket Ranch purely for the facilities of the lodges themselves with having children. As always I’ll be sharing a full in-depth review from that stay after our visit!

Have you ever stayed on-site and off-site which did you prefer?
