Many years after the initial announcement that shared details of this Frozen area joining the Studios line-up. We are MONTHS away from opening day but with this little did we know the whole of Walt Disney Studios Paris was going to be reimagined into Disney Adventure World. Wild right? But here’s all there is to know so far & some speculation.
Set to open in Spring 2026. Spring begins on the 20th March and ends around the 20th of June. That’s a 4-month window. I feel the reality is we’ll see the gates open to this area around April/May time. No doubt the park will put on some annual pass previews and events where guests will gain access earlier.
Elsa’s Ice Castle will be sitting at 36m. This already looks like the most gorgeous background and skyline for the area from construction photos. Facades have all been hand-painted, village-like streets have recreated the Nordic charm and there’s been 1,000 trees planted. There are also Frozen-themed dining experiences and plenty of shops which will supply exclusive merchandise.
Onto attractions there’ll be Frozen Ever After which is a boat ride attraction that’ll take guests through scenes from both films and will feature iconic audio animatronics of the characters. Whilst the nods to Frozen 2 are presumed to be more subtle they’ll be there still. Alongside this ride, there’ll also be meet & greet opportunities within a dedicated space that’ll feature Anna, Elsa and Olaf.
Arendelle is a tremendous element in the changeover that is Studios evolving to Adventure World. Alongside this area will be a brand new Adventure Way that’ll guide guests to this area. BUT more on that in another blog post soon.
Are you excited to FINALLY see this area open up? Will you be visiting?
