Disneyland Paris is the park to keep in mind for the coming years. There’s so much happening or going to happen that’s been shared primarily from D23. So, let’s give you the rundown of what you can predict in the coming year and beyond from Disneyland Paris.
Disney Village Revamp:
This has been ongoing for some time now with some of the transformations already open for guests to embrace. Disney Village is a free-to-enter site on the exterior of both parks that is crammed with various restaurants, shops and even a cinema. This space is getting an entirely fresh stylish look alongside things arriving & departing. One of the significant things to be removed was Planet Hollywood and it appears to be getting totally demolished. Whereas other favourites like McDonald’s remain open whilst a brand new building gets built to then transfer over. I’ll stick in some concept art below it looks brilliant.
World of Frozen:
This area has been in construction for quite some time now. However, we finally have a year of opening which is 2026. So, there’s still quite a bit of time before fans can embark on their favourite movie franchises, unfortunately. This area will open with a brand new indoor boat ride comparable to the ones you can find in Hong Kong and Orlando Florida. The area looks truly enchanting. Although there’s another year and a bit to wait for this area I’m sure it’ll be worth the wait.
New Nighttime Show:
Both parks will be welcoming a brand new evening show. Walt Disney Studios as it’s currently known doesn’t actually have a consistent show to watch in the evenings. It periodically uses the Tower of Terror building as its body. But this future show will be utilising the newly built lake that will feature a show similar to Sympathy of Colours. Whereas the main park always displays a closing finale on the castle. Currently being shown is Disney Illuminations (my favourite) but this is set to be replaced in 2025 with the addition of incorporating Main Street into the show with projection mapping. Further details are yet to be declared.
The Lion King Area:
The second new area to come to Walt Disney Studios is Lion King-based. This is a unique IP to be used within any Disney park for a full area. It will feature Paris’s first log flume attraction that’s the same as what you can find for Tina’s Boyou in Disney California. Further information on the land appears quite murky at the minute as there isn’t a timeframe on when guests can expect to see this land open or even begin construction. Again, I’m sure it’ll be worth the wait and hopefully doesn’t get the axe like Galaxy Edge that was initially intended.
Walt Disney Studio Rebrand :
Okay, this is a rather paramount change coming and that’s the loss of Walt Disney Studios with a replacement branding of Disney Adventure World. This rebrand will happen once World of Frozen opens in 2026. Alongside this evolution comes the re-haul of Studio 1 as we currently know it. This rebrand offers a 90% change across the park that we all know and enjoy. It’s a fresh take and experience for guests to embark on whilst appreciating the classic attractions that will hang around. Rather than exploring behind the movie, you’ll be a part of the movie celebration. With all that in mind, this complete rebrand welcomes a new lake that’ll be taken advantage of for nighttime shows and a brand new Tangled-inspired spinning flat ride. Not to disregard the brand new area that opened a couple of years back which of course is Avengers Campus. This was the true origin of change. Concept art to follow below.
Davy Crocket Ranch Bungalows:
Davy Crocket Ranch is an off-site accommodation that Disney run and gradually all the existing bungalows will be replaced with new and more current ones. The time of this change is anticipated to be between the rear of 2024 to Spring 2025.

That’s a whole heap of Disney magic that’s coming our way to the fellow Disneyland Paris fans. To say we’re enthusiastic about the future is an understatement. What are you most looking forward to?
