Ranking The Disneyland Paris Hotels We’ve Stayed At

So, over the last 4 years, we have been lucky enough to stay on-site at Disneyland Paris 3 times all of which have been in their more inexpensive (still pricey) hotel offerings. I thought it would be a good idea to rate them and share our thoughts from each stay to perhaps help others determine where they’d like to stay. Please, don’t interpret this blog as boasting in any way as I know we have been very lucky to stay on-site.

Hotel Cheyenne:

My first Disneyland Paris hotel as an adult and it was alright. It’s themed to Western and of course, the rooms are Toy Story inspired which is fun. I thoroughly enjoy Toy Story. This had the worst on-site restaurant in my opinion I couldn’t enjoy the offerings at all (I am a fussy eater). The rooms were nice & somewhat cosy with the darker tones but I didn’t particularly enjoy the night’s sleep in the beds, unfortunately. However, the room had some pretty epic bits of theming like Woodie’s boot as a lamp! The shuttle buses are an experience to say the very least. But again if it’s a cheap choice it’s worth snapping up simply due to the access to the Magic Shuttle for the airports & the hotel facilities including a shop & Starbucks. Of course, there are also meet & greets in the hotel reception too.

Hotel Santa Fe:

I can barely recall my first-ever Disneyland Paris trip and our stay at this hotel. But coming back as an adult I really did appreciate it more. We grabbed ourselves a bargain for this stay where we only paid £400 for 3 days including our overnight stays and park tickets. It’s cars-themed which I actually really liked (didn’t think I would). This has the best on-site restaurant in my opinion I really did enjoy having a pick at the Mexican food. The hotel is really colorful and the rooms themselves are too. If you drive your car here you can also park fairly near to the block you’re staying at. The only thing I thought didn’t work too well was the shuttle service as it wasn’t often at all meaning the fight to get on was always fun. But again, this was the cheapest out of the bunch we stayed at and honestly, I’d stay here again without a doubt.

Sequoia Lodge:

My favourite hotel so far for so many reasons & preferences. We visited during January when the weather was exceptionally cold and this accommodation was ideal for the weather we had. It was incredibly cosy, warming and autumnal which really emphasised the temperatures outdoors. This hotel is the only one out of this list which includes a swimming pool which was something I adored Every evening after the park we’d go for a swim and relax. It really did take our honeymoon to a new level having that additional perk. The on-site restaurant wasn’t the best in my opinion however we were lucky enough to grab a reservation for Downtown Restaurant at Hotel New York which is next door. Our room was warm and had Bambi decor as well as a balcony which again really just added to the reasons why I adore this hotel. With all of the hotels there’s meet & greets with characters too. This is a hotel I’d love to stay in again during the Winter period. Another perk for this hotel is the fact it’s a simple walk through Disney Village to get to the parks rather than combatting with the shuttles.
