If your like us & live a sufficient distance away from London & fancy having a day trip then here are some suggestions on what to guarantee you have in your bags.
Plasters:
With the amount of walking going on your feet are bound to take the brunt of it. Therefore, it’s always worth having some plasters to hand in case you end up gaining some blisters along the way.
Hand Wipes / Sanitiser:
When travelling around London you’ll be touching lots of communal areas, especially on the tubes. Therefore, some sanitising wipes or gel are always useful to keep in your bag.
Bottle of Water:
Again with the percentage of walking, you’ll be doing and the amount of time generally you spend down in the tubes you’ll need a drink on hand. I find travelling around on the tubes makes me dry and causes my throat to get quite soar
Power Bank & Lead:
You will use your smart devices probably more than you’d imagine when visiting London. Whether your travelling on the tube or ordering dinner. Your mobile is your passport to it all really. Unless you go traditionally & use a bank card because if you are like us you naturally don’t.
Emergency Money Funds:
I think having a certain amount of cash on hand in case of emergency aka your using an Apple wallet and your phone dies or you need an alternative route home. It’s just best to be prepared for the worst-case in my opinion.
