Thorpe Park is the answer that appears to Google but is this justifiable?
Yes, Thorpe Park is the UK’s thrill capital. The core audience is thrill seekers unlike the majority of other UK theme parks that share their target audience with families. That’s not to say this isn’t a fantastic place for families to visit as their ride there for little ones to embrace and this seems to be developed more this season as well.
But strictly speaking you head into the car and you’ll have an eye full of adrenaline-filled rollercoasters. The overwhelming feeling of “where first” will fill your brain. Thorpe Park is home to 7 rollercoasters told 5 of which are thrill based and the other two more families oriented. It also has the UK’s only current winged rollercoaster, which once held the record for quantity of inversions & steepest drop & has the UK’s only top hat launch rollercoaster.
Alongside the mentioned rollercoasters there is an entire heap of additional rides to claim the title of the UK’s most thrilling theme park including considerable flat rides, Derren browns ghost train & so much more.
Even though I don’t find the rides at the park scary I can certainly see why it holds the title given its adrenaline-filled start to finish.
