Top 5 Rollercoasters You Can Ride With Your Merlin Annual Pass – #AD

As a Merlin Annual Passholder, there are exactly 24 rollercoasters to experience from across the 4 theme parks combined. So, I thought I’d sit today and discuss my top 5 rollercoasters. These rollercoasters are far too superior to place in any particular order.

I am also super excited to announce I will be working alongside Merlin Annual Pass for another year as a Merlin Annual Pass Collaborator. Further information in regards to the latest pass to join the lineup will be available at the end of this blog post.

Nemesis – Alton Towers:

A true icon amongst the overall UK rollercoasters. Regardless of the row or seat, you are sitting in you are bound to have a real fun adrenaline-filled ride. It definitely is one of the more intense rollercoasters on the list therefore if the intensity isn’t for you then continue for more relaxed rollercoaster rides to check out this season. Nemesis has such an interesting backstory as well so be sure to check that out if deeper stories are your kind of thing.

Stealth – Thorpe Park:

If you are looking for speed then Stealth is the one for you. The launch on this rollercoaster is fierce and the height alone is thrilling. But the highest point of this rollercoaster offers some gorgeous views from across the entire park and some of my favourite; airtime. Stealth is one of those rollercoasters which are over quick but are so worth it for the adrenaline alone.

The Dragon – Legoland Windsor:

This rollercoaster is so beautifully themed throughout the station and indoor section of the ride even child-free adults can enjoy. I find the layout of this coaster is somewhat fun as well it has a decent duration to it as well.

Vampire – Chessington World of Adventures:

Another classic rollercoaster that is still a must ride to this day. Yet again the theming is stunning throughout and the ride itself is still an insane amount of fun for the entire family to enjoy.

Wickerman – Alton Towers:

One of the newest arrivals to the lineup and it’s not one to miss either. One of the best wooden rollercoasters within the UK and as well as being one of the best themed too. The audio will leave you humming along for the rest of your day. This is one of the first rides I have ever experienced which left me speechless.

If I could I would include them all as they are all fab in their own little ways. But for now, they are my top 5 recommended rollercoasters to check out in 2022.
