A different kind of blog today from an attraction that opened back in 2022 in Blackpool. It’s somewhere I never expected to be half as fun and beautifully themed as it was. So, let’s have a chat!
Ticket Pricing:
We paid £18 for two adults for standard tickets and then added on the gift guide and pen on the day for an extra £2.50. We pre-booked online the day prior but I assume you can pay on the day too. The value of the pricing is brilliant.
The Gift Guide & Staff:
The gift guide has a special word inside you unlock as you go around there’s a script on each hole somewhere with a letter in capitals that then builds the particular word inside the guide. The staff are perfectly in character and every characteristic of the experience is detailed. You only meet the staff member at the beginning & ending other than that you are left to your own accord, it was the ideal amount of interaction in my opinion. You get told the rules which include the fact that you only have 6 attempts on each hole then must write 7 on the score card and even the golf clubs have enchanted names. It truly is a complete experience. There’s a photo opportunity before you begin and you can of course skip that too.
The Golf Course:
It is only a 9-hole golf but it’s less about the quantity of holes and more about the immersive experience. Every hole is themed and the whole course took us actually an hour to finish. It’s impossible not to get lost grabbing photos and videos because it’s so mesmerising. Some of the holes especially hole 7 are very tough so if you have a little one you may need to help them with this one. Every inch of the experience there’s something to look at or something to read it truly is a full-blown adventure. Throughout the attraction, there are toilets and benches which I definitely appreciated being heavily pregnant at the beginning of the heat wave! It is admirable and cool inside too. At the end you have to hit your golf ball into a good or bad hole then that specifies which potion drink you acquire and if you get a hole in 1 (I got 3) you get a little badge too.
Overall:
We’d absolutely be doing this again next time we visit Blackpool or any of the other sites. It is so incredibly exceptional and you don’t have to be into the wizard / magical like theme to admire it. Everything is detailed and it is such a radiant experience. The pricing for what you get and experience is flawless.
