Light Trail:
I was pleasantly amazed by this walk-around style attraction. The moment we stepped into it, I found it became evident that it was going to be something extraordinary. It took us roundabout 30-50 minutes to walk around & take photos etc. I found it utilised the grounds beautifully and gave us a new light (no pun intended) onto what is an already stunning setting anyway. I wouldn’t say there was a moment that dissatisfy me at all. It more or less mesmerized me how elegant it was.
Throughout there were numerous photo opportunities spots for guests to enjoy. The audio was delightful and festive as well. There is an adequate quantity of up & downhills and walking involved but there is no rush around which is incredibly ideal. It was fab to see there were several toilets break opportunities & also staff on hand to navigate guests if required and it just appeared they were there for anyone who needed assistance.
As you neared what I guess you could indicate to be the midway point there was a food & drink outlet open for those wanting to take a break and grab a bite to eat which again isn’t something you always see with this kind of style of attraction. But all in all, this was truly enchanted to encounter & a well-thought-out additional attraction for all ages to appreciate.
Ice Rink:
We didn’t go on the ice as I’m too much of a wuss for that haha. But the area was a lot larger than I had expected it to be and it was right out the front of the castle meaning you skate around with the spectacular view insight. Well-known classic hits are being played as well which just gave the area a lease of life in itself. It looked like great fun but unfortunately, me being a wimp I have a phobia of ice skating.
Santa Meet & Greet:
Also available for guests to enjoy is meeting Santa! This is excellent for those with younger children, of course. It appears to be located amongst the courtyard area of the castle itself.
Market Stalls:
There is a small little boxed area of the market-like stalls that you’d hope to find at a Christmas market. I loved the dog stall in particular as I couldn’t restrain myself from purchasing some goodies to take home for Loki haha. The hot chocolate was also quite nice as well. It all seemed to be relatively priced as well in comparison to what you would expect at these types of stalls & events.
Overall:
Overall, this event seems exceptionally well put together with pretty much everything perfected and thought out. It’s the ideal event to visit this festive period with your family & friends. I found it’s a favourable inclusive event for every one of diverse ages & appreciations. For further information regarding the time duration this event runs & the pricing of each feature of the event please see the above.
