Who else hates the travel home? It is just so painful to be leaving Disneyland Paris and the last thing you want to do is face the travel back home. Anyway, let’s get into the final part of our travel experience. Part one will be linked HERE and Part two HERE.
Once we got to the airport we arrived in Terminal 2E which is where we wanted to be. Heading to border control where we got sent down the longest queue which was “The Other” queue although we could see clearly we were meant to be On the UK/European side which was significantly less. Looking around the queue we noticed nobody else had our passports. So, we asked a member of staff who told us we weren’t in the right queue so we asked where we should be then. To then get snapped at and told to stay where we are. Once we were done here the rest was plain sailing.
Hopping on the monorail across to our gate to then go through security. This queue was incredibly short which was perfect for us. By time we got to our gate and sat down we only had 45 minutes to go. By time we knew it we began boarding and straight onto the plane. Where I ended up having a rather ‘odd experience’ with the person sitting next to us. Kind of topped off how our the travel experience was going anyway.
Airfrance is a company we’d used again by all means. However, the core issue I found was the struggle of understanding the announcements. When announcements are made and you’re dropping with turbulence but you can’t understand what’s happening that is quite stressful as you can imagine. Better English communication would be brilliant to see in the future. The fact you get a free coffee & tea and snack onboard is a lovely perk. But all in all, if you don’t have any other option but want to visit DLP then definitely go with these guys.
