Firstly, let me begin of with saying an enormous thank you to each & every one of you have followed me on this 4 year long journey of blogging. It really has been a life changing experience for myself & has enabled me to learn a lot in general but also about who I am as an individual. I’m forever grateful for the warmth & support across the years & to those solely amazing friends who I class as family & even those who aren’t in my life as much. I’m grateful & more than words appreciative of everyone who has been apart of this journey. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
So, as it’s our little 4 year anniversary I thought I’d sit and reflect on the journey so far. I’ll crack open my little Picsolve photo album on my phone and share with you guys some of our fondest memories. I really hope you enjoy!
My First & Our Last Ride on Bubbleworks:
I was a tad overdue to the party when it came down to Bubbleworks & honestly I’m gutted I was. The moment I walked into that station it was love at first sight. That addictive audio and brightly themed ride experience were all I had ever needed to encounter. The first picture is from my first ever time riding & Ants probably 100th as he adored it during the days of Professor Burp. The final picture is from the closing month. It had such a buzz surrounding it during this time & it was an environment I’ll never forget in all honesty. It’ll forever be a ride which I miss.

First Time Riding Oblivion:
I feel this is a moderately key period in my enthusiast life. The moment I got to ride this is the moment I managed to push myself further out of my comfort zone. As you may tell by the image I was petrified. It took me years to get to the level of comfort I am now.
Icons Media Opening Day:
This has to be one of my favourite days I have ever experienced at Pleasure Beach. The atmosphere was electric and the undertone buzz that was arising amongst so many enthusiasts was so extraordinary. I found the whole package that was put together for us that day was extraordinary. We couldn’t have asked for nicer weather either and it all went so smoothly too. It was the shifting point for me as a blogger in all honesty as it just made me fall in love with theme parks on an intenser and more intimate level.
Tiger Rocks Press Day:
This was another really fun day. It was the time a park had ever recognized me and it was within months of me creating my blogs too. Seen all those famous faces was surreal in itself. But I adored this ride in its initial theme and to be a part of the opening was incredible. The area is stunning and I’ll always be thankful to Chessington for the opportunity.
Wickerman’s Soft Opening:
After the snowy opening day and lack of feeding the flames that arose. We attempted for the entire week after to ride Wickerman. Luckily we caught it during the soft opening and it was the first time I had been left speechless after a ride, like ever. I hit that break run with no words to get out to formulate how extraordinary it was. The entire ride experience just blew my anticipations well out of the water. We had ridden it so much that day that I ended up getting laryngitis from the smoke for 6 solid weeks afterwards, it was that good.
Our First Scarefest:
A momentum moment in my life was Scarefest. It sparked up a love I didn’t realise I had internally for Autumn & Halloween. I had no idea how I would respond to a spooky style event until this moment. It was the time that introduced me to my first spooky love, The Freakshow. That as a scare zone was a moment in itself and we even dressed all up for the experience!
Our First Fireworks at Alton Towers:
Yet another annual tradition that sparked up on our first visit. This firework display was the biggest I had seen at that duration & for me it’s so special to follow Alton Towers as they grow & develop year after year with their displays. This will always be an extraordinary day for me.
