10 Things To Pack In Your Summer Theme Park Bag:

I shared a similar blog post to this a few months back but in a more general tone. Whereas today I thought I’d share a summer version for you guys to use as a your tick list when packing. I hope this is somewhat helpful.

Compacted Waterproof Jacket:

Don’t be fooled by the sunshine in the morning and prepare for the worst. That’s the lesson I have learnt over the years of theme parking. Regardless of the forecast you can often expect the British weather to fool you. I often carry a regatta foldaway waterproof jacket for me & Ant just in case. It has came in handy on several occasions.

Liquid Talc:

If your like me and suffer with chaffing then I definitely recommend heading to a supermarket and purchasing liquid talc, it works a treat!

Spare Sunglasses:

Unfortunately for me I’ve had many occasions where I regretted not carrying a spare pair of sunglasses with me. I have a tendency to loosing mine underneath Rollercoaster stations. It’s a long story and I will share them both one day perhaps on my socials so keep an eye out haha.

Breathable Face Mask:

As the pandemic still lingers it’s hard to wear the heavy thick face mask I get it completely. So find yourself a nice breathable face mask and pack two in case you loose one.

Suncream:

Look after your skin! Don’t let it cook it’s not worth the soreness afterwards.

A Cap:

Some queue lines can be sun traps and it does make queuing a lot more intolerable. Therefore, carry your own shade in a cap that will help protect your face and head from the sunshine.

Re-Usable Bottle:

Majority of parks offer free water re-fills. If your heading to the likes of Legoland Windsor, Thorpe Park or Alton Towers their coke freestyle machines gives free water.

Portable Fan:

Walking and queuing all day often means your working up a sweat so be sure to pack a small portable fan into your bag to assure you don’t get poorly or too hot.

Blackpool Pleasure Beach

Power Bank:

Summer months tends to mean longer opening hours too. Therefore, it can mean your phone runs out of juice before it’s the end of the day. So, it’s quite essential especially if your needing to use the maps & what not to get home or for the sake of emergencies.

Spray:

Nobody wants to be queuing amongst the smell of sweat it’s not pleasant for others nor for yourself. I understand it’s easy to forget sometimes. But always pack a small travel size spray to keep fresh!
