We were kindly invited to visit Legoland Windsor for the day & attend the media preview for the brand new area a couple of weeks ago. So here is a rundown of how our day went.
Getting In:
It was a busy day, to say the least. However, getting into the park was pretty easy to do. Admittedly we had to queue a little while to collect our wristbands for the day, but once we got them, getting into the park was simple. Having all the turnstiles open definitely helped shift the crowds of people.
Queues:
The queues were as long as you’d expect for a sold-out day. However, we kindly gifted unlimited fast tracks with the invite to the new area. Which thankfully the ride & reserve lines were extremely quiet and we barely queued for anything. If your travelling from afar I’d definitely recommend looking into the ride and reserve to ensure you make the most out of your day, I will be uploading an entire blog post reviewing this very soon.
The Rides:
It was so lovely to get on some firm favourites again. The Dragon was looking extremely fresh on the outside as well as the indoor section. It was nice to see it looking so good.
A firm favourite of mine The Haunted House Monster Party was fab to get back experiencing it again. It’s always nice to have a little bop to the fab audio.
We did all the water rides as well and again everything across the entire park just looked fresh & at its finest.
Preview Event:
The event started at 4:30, so we headed straight over to the area to check it out. It’s safe to say the area is gorgeous and the UKs first flying theatre is immense. We are so lucky to have been invited to the preview and so lucky to have this area within the UK. During this event, we checked out the re-named fish and chip food outlet, The Hungry Troll where we embraced some doughnuts and chips. All of which were fab.
Overall:
We had an incredible day at Legoland. We can’t wait to return again later in the year for some rides on our favourites. We’d highly recommend coming to Legoland and checking out their new area for 2021 and we’d love to hear your thoughts on it too!
Thank you so much to Legoland/Merlin Annual Pass for inviting us for the day & thank you to you guys for reading as always!
