What a season it is shaping up to be here in the UK! So many parks have pulled it out of the bag with new investments as well as events. There is something new for literally everyone and every age range possible. So I’m going to talk about a few parks you don’t want to miss this year.
Drayton Manor:
You do not want to miss this park this year. There is so many fab things happening at the park including their brand new themed area. This area includes the return of firm favourites including Shockwave & Stormforce 10 as well as brand new River Rapids & more rides which are yet to be confirmed. I am super hyped for this and have a good feeling this will continue to lead to bigger & better things in the future.
Alton Towers:
Alton Towers have invested almost every season since 2018 so the park is continously growing and becoming better each year. This year is no different with the likes of The World of David Walliams opening alongside the main attraction; Gangsta Granny. As well as the brand new area comes some brand new flat rides known as the Retro Squad. But that’s not it, there is also a whole load of events to experience too.
Paultons Park:
Tornado Springs offiically opens on Monday the 12th of April! It’s better late than never. This area consist of a brand new rollercoaster which is also a first for the UK too. Alongside plenty of supporting rides and themed attractions, restaurants and shops.
Chessington World of Adventures:
Croc drop, is dropping this Monday! It is an extremely exciting time as this is one of my favourite kind of drop towers! The theming looks gorgeous too. But also if you did not visit last season Tomb Blaster had recieved a beautiful overhaul and refurbishment that has brought the ride to life and allowed it to shine for all it’s glory.
Legoland Windsor:
The UK’s first flying theatre is about to open at Legoland Windsor. This brand new area is set to open on 29th May where you can experience Flight of the Sky Lion, Fire & Ice Freefall and Hydra’s Quest.
Lighwater Valley:
If you are someone who has young children then don’t miss out on Lightwater Valley as they a whole heap of brand new family attractions for the park. I’ll pop the blog HERE where I discuss all that’s needed to know about Lighwater Valley ahead of opening.
Of course, I could sit and list every single park you should visit in 2021 but I would quite honestly be here FOREVER. So get out there and support the UK theme park industry. There is so many amazing things set to open this year but even away from rides there’s so many events to embrace too. I’d love to hear your trips!
