I’ve attempted this kind of blog for a little while but I have always felt a bit awkward doing one, I don’t know why neither before anyone ask. But 2021 is about me pushing those anxieties out of the water & here we are now! So thank you to everyone who sent in some questions on Instagram, I’m excited to finally, answer them!
How Are You?
I thought I’d start here as it filled me with a lot of warmth. So thank you for asking! I’m doing okay it’s been a tough month but I anticipate it has for us all. But thank you so much for asking, I hope your doing okay?
What’s Your Biggest Drive to Keep The Blogs Coming?
This is a fab question and one which I get asked regularly too. I’ll be 100% honest with the fact a lot of my blogs get written during those nights where my anxiety won’t allow my mind to rest. I’ll just have these constant ideas for blog post overwhelming my brain which then helps to distract me from overthinking and also helps me to drift off to sleep. It’s my way of escapism without physically having to leave the house. But also I love to dive into any themed attraction related topics and have a good old chat but I may as well have that chat & share it with you guys as so many of you enjoy these blogs. I just love writing & having people read is just a bonus which I’m incredibly grateful for.
Rank The Fright Nights (Thorpe Park) 2020 Scare Zones:
After a few months since the event I feel I may have a ranking that I’m happy with (I think haha). I’ll go from 5th to 1st
- Swarm Invasion
- Amity High
- Lycanthorpe
- Fearstival Arena
- Creek Freak Unchained
If anyone wants to hear a more in depth reasoning behind this, definitely let me know!
Bucket List British Park:
Currently it’s Flamingo Land. I’ve wanted to visit this park for so many years but never really found the time. So I’m excited to FINALLY visit & grab all those coasters to add to my count!
Top 10 Rollercoasters:
Okay, after searching my site high & low, I have never written a top 10 rollercoaster list! I’ll just end up rambling on too much to share my list here, so keep an eye out for an upcoming blog post (ps thank you for the idea too).
Favourite Small Park:
A park which I feel is not spoken about half as much it deserves is Pleasurewood Hills. I honestly think this park is beautiful, it has so many incredible rides which don’t get half the acknowledgment they deserve.
What Is A Ride That Was an Unexpected Gem For You?
There’s been a few if I’m honest. However the main one which comes to mind is Speed:No Limits. I honestly had very little expectations for this coaster as the only other Gerstlauer Euro Fighter I done was Saw & that’s not exactly the smoothest of coasters nor my favourite. But Speed blew me away I never expected to love it half as much as I did!
Favourite Water Ride:
I think it depends on whether we are talking about indoor boat rides or just general outdoor water ride? Indoor water ride has to be Pirates of the Caribbean at Disneyland Paris. I adore this attraction so much. But outdoor water ride is between Silver River Flume at PortAventura & Pirate Falls at Legoland Windsor. Both of these are fab. But also I can’t answer this without expressing my love for Tiger Rocks too.
Have You Ever Been On Cred Run Before?
Honestly I wouldn’t say I have, however we do have a little cred run planned for this summer (hopefully).
Your Favourite Rollercoaster:
Big Thunder Mountain or Red Force. I can’t quite make my mind I’ll admit they are polar opposite to one another. But they are both so good so they are my joint favourites!
Do You Have Any Future Plans/Projects Goals For The Future?
Not really. I mean I have been lucky enough to become a Merlin Pass Collaborator therefore I expect in that aspect there’ll be some exciting things to come. But as I mentioned above I simply write to help with my mental health & find escapism when I can’t physically leave the house to find that. If opportunities come my way then I’ll consider taking them as long as they line up with what I do & agree with. But at the moment I don’t intend on personally doing anything big. I might mess around with YouTube this year but that’s as far as I’ve planned. I’m just happy taking life as it comes really & feel incredibly honoured for anything that does come my way.
UPDATE: since answering this question I have in fact started to explore my creative side & started to draw. I do have plans of opening an Etsy shop up VERY soon! More information will come shortly on this adventure of mine!
Will You Be Sharing More Mental Health Related Blog Post?
Never say never. I mainly write these type of blog post during my down/low days. It always me to vocalise how I feel but also what I wish I could tell others during these moments too. I have plenty in my drafts that I may end up posting at some point.
Have You Ever Nearly Gave Up On Making Content?
Yes. I have on multiple occasions mainly due to low days & lack of motivation more than anything else. But whenever that does happen I just roll with it & just stop creating content & roll with whatever I had scheduled if anything. But I don’t make content as I feel I NEED too and if it ever did come to that point then I would just give it in all together.
Okay, if I continue to add more of the questions to this blog it’ll probably be too long. So if you guys enjoy this I may do a part two. Thank you so much to everyone who has sent me the questions across I’ve loved answering what you guys want to know!
As always thank you for reading & chat again soon!x
