Some might remember my tweet a few weeks back where I asked you guys what rides would you have in your ideal theme park. Honestly I found so much enjoyment just scrolling through your ideas! If I’m honest I would be paying good money to visit some of your parks, as they sound like an actual dream! So today I thought I’d share 5 candidates for my perfect theme park. I had to shorten it down to 5 else we would be here for a very long time & let’s be honest you’d all be asleep by the time I got halfway through the very lengthy list. So without me waffling on any longer let’s get into this! If you would like to see a part two be sure to let me know!
Rush – Thorpe Park:
Okay, I have to begin with a flat ride as my ideal park would have multiple, to say the least. But the main ride I would pinch is Rush from Thorpe Park. I would have this immediately in my park as it simply is one of the best UK flats there is. If it was possible I would be adding a few more seconds to the cycle to make it even more perfect.
Red Force – PortAventura:
As a launch coaster lover I would have to this beast in my park. I would not beat around the bush with the likes of Icon I’d go straight for the big boy in Red Force. That launch, height and adrenaline is everything a launch needs. Admittedly the layout of Rita is glorious too but I’d have to stick with the love of my launch life in Red Force.
Silver River Flume – PortAventura:
Again the UK has its fair share of decent log flumes I have to admit. But nothing quite compares to this one. It is far from the best themed or immersive of its kind that I’ve done anyway, yet it is simply incredible. Admittedly I would prefer to add more of a theme to it & theming around the ride itself. As for any further changes to the ride itself, there just aren’t any needed.
Big Thunder Mountain – Disneyland Paris:
Every park needs that star quality family attraction to equal the appeal. Therefore mine would have to be Big Thunder Mountain. It offers something for everyone & let’s face it it’s one of the greatest rollercoasters, that I’ve ridden anyway. I would not change a thing.
Pirates of the Caribbean- Disneyland Paris:
Finally, every theme park needs at least one dark ride, except for the fact mine would probably have about 5. But more importantly, if I had my way every theme park would have this ride or similar. The perfect boat ride, audio, smells & theme. There’s nothing about this ride which I don’t love nor appreciate. I could happily sit on it for hours upon hours and my heart would be content therefore I’d love to spread that level of joy to you all.
I could quite easily do another 3 parts to this blog post if that’s something you guys fancy reading? Let me know also I’d love to hear more of your perfect park ideas!
Thank you so much for reading!
