Have you ever experienced one of the UK dark rides and almost questioned what’s even happening & why is it THAT funny or creepy? Well here’s a list of 5 of those exact scenes/props IMO. I’d love to hear your thoughts too.
Prior to this rather odd bit of artwork happening to the zombies faces. Duels zombies were somewhat eerie. They swung out and often made me crap my pants. Yet now they come racing towards the carriage and it’s hard to not laugh at their horrendous UV eyeballs and faces. It’s one of the most questionable things to happen. It’s always been hilarious to see.
Let’s not lie this is pretty daunting. I get Alice is been portrayed as a giant but it just looks as if she’s been beheaded. A headless or beheaded Alice isn’t something anyone needs to see, especially not the children.
Right I’m first to say I love a ride on River Caves. But my god that nice relaxing ride around the world is one of the creepiest rides ever. Every scene feels haunted to some aspect. Has anyone else experienced this when the audio has been broken? If you haven’t, count your lucky stars! River Caves could well be adorable and lovely with some TLC but currently when you take into account it’s age, it’s creepy AF!
Right, surely we aren’t the only ones who experienced this without the eyes working? The huge head right before the finale. It’s something from nightmares. The entire ride is a lovely adventure whilst feeling apart of this storybook. But you come to the end of the fountains and there’s a huge Gruffalos head with white eyes. No pupils or anything just pure white eyes. It then becomes somewhat questionably scary!
Maybe it’s the age of Pleasure Beach. But yet another one of their dark rides have made the list. This time the ride which is set out to be creepy The Ghost Train. I can handle the entire ride except for when you go down to the lower section. Then it’s a no go for me. I instantly close my eyes on the best of days. That entire section is eerie. Maybe it’s the stories of cloggy I’m not sure. But the skeletons on their bikes with the mirrors around the room, nope. I just can’t even begin to explain how eerie I find it.
This counts as hilarious more than eerie. But seriously why? Why is it THAT loud?? It’s not even bearable. Every time it goes off my feet end up a few meters in the air because how hard it’s made me jump. That is seriously the worst & scariest part of the ride & overall experience. It scares the living day lights out of me. I simply refuse to touch this attraction due to the horrendously loud & terrifying fog horn.
There are 5 scenes/props which I find hilarious & creepy. I’d love to hear yours in the comments or across our socials.
Thank you for reading as always!xo
