Top 10 Theme Parks / Amusement Parks

Here’s my top 10 theme parks but please bear in mind we haven’t visited many. We’d love to hear your top 10 as well.

10. LEGOLAND Windsor

This list was hard to do. But coming in at 10th spot is LEGOLAND Windsor. A park which I personally adore and is homed to some of my ultimate guilty pleasures. The constant increase of investment has impacted our thoughts hugely as well.

9. Drayton Manor:

It’s my local and one of the prettiest parks in the UK. The pride they’ve taken in ensure existing attractions look fab is something I love a lot. The likes of The Haunting is prime example of what I’ve just said above. This park has some incredible rides and some of which are unique & treasures to the UK.

8. Walt Disney Studios:

During our visit there was a lot of work happening which is very exciting for the future but also meant we didn’t have the full park experience. So from what we got to experience it’s a lovely little park. It is also home to our favourite ride of all time too.

7. Thorpe Park:

I’ve struggled to acknowledge where in this list Thorpe Park would sit. With recent losses like Slammer & X I feel the factors I once loved about the park have gone. Therefore I’ve found pooping Thorpe here is comfortable for me. I personally can’t wait to see what future investments are in store and hopefully whatever there’ll be will re-gain my love for the park.

6. Chessington World of Adventures;

It really is a wholesome park. The family atmosphere is something I love when it comes down to theme parks. It often feels as if there’s always something new happening. Not to forget it has some stunning rollercoasters like Vampire & Dragons Fury.

5. Paultons Park:

Another beautiful UK theme park with some gorgeously themed rides & attractions. The way they theme their rollercoasters amazes me. Not to forget they have their brand new area set to open in  2021 is incredibly exciting.

4. PortAventura World:

I always refer to here as Blackpool Pleasure Beach in the sun, as it kind of has the same atmosphere in my opinion. But it’s a fab park and one which we hope to head out to again some day soon.

3. Blackpool Pleasure Beach:

My longest visited park besides Drayton Manor. I’ve been loving Pleasure Beach for 11 years now. Watching the changes happen good and bad has made me so in love with the park.

2. Alton Towers:

My happiest place in the UK. It’s the place I love to escape to whenever I’ve had a bad week. It’s almost like my therapy and has a homely feeling about it. Not to forget their fab ride line up. I’m so excited to see and experience their brand new area.

1. Disneyland Paris:

The happiest and most incredible park I’ve visited. It’s the king of so much theming, dark rides & atmosphere. It’s a place which will forever hold a special place in my heart as it’s the place I got engaged to the love of my life. I’ve never been so happy like I was at this park.
