I never intended to do a two-part series but the first blog was really long. Turns out I love many scenes across almost every dark ride I’ve ridden basically. So here goes and welcome to the second part of this little chat. Let us know your favourite rooms or scenes below in the comment or across our socials.
Octagon – Hex at Alton Towers:
Am I the only one who finds that room a little too creepy? There’s such an eerie atmosphere within that room. Although I’ve heard the effects have been changed in there but I ain’t actually rode it since.
Pre Show – Haunted House Party at Legoland Windsor:
Nothing will ever describe my love for this dark ride like it’s such a bop all way round. During our first ever ride it too me by surprised how groovy it actually is. The entire ride is fab but the pre-show is real fun. I love the screen / photo frames a lot.
Underground – Ghost Train at Blackpool Pleasure Beach:
I really like to be creeped out, don’t I? But the underground area of the ride gives me the creeps. I remember one ride I was studying the knight and didn’t release it moved and it scared the shit out of me. The main part I have to look away is the skeletons on the bikes I hate that little bit.
Gromit In The Helicopter – Wallace & Gromit at Blackpool Pleasure Beach:
The whole ride is so fab and something I adore. But this specific scene is my favourite as the smaller details are insane. If you look towards the ground of that scene you’ll see so many small details like the houses etc. It has really made an impact on how much care there is for the attention to detail.
