So today marks 25 years of PortAventura, so I thought I’d pop this blog post together to celebrate this beautiful theme park with you guys. I hope you all enjoy and let’s share our fondest memories together in the comments and across our social media accounts.
Our first visit to PortAventura was back in 2018 and it was October time. It was a bucket list park of ours for so many years. So to finally had the opportunity to experience the park was truly fab. I remember heading through the gates and just feeling so blown away by the level of Halloween theming. In comparison to other events we’ve done at this time of year it just was next level atmosphere and definitely our favourite decorated. All the rollercoasters looked huge in comparison to the ones we’ve seen before. I remember heading up towards Shambhala and just looking at it thinking wow. That was the only word which came to mind. The sheer height and size was immense.
The park is truly gorgeous it’s home to some of our favourite rides such as their rapids, Red Force and Silver River Flume. There’s so much attention to detail when it comes down to theming especially during their Halloween period. It feels as if there is rides for everyone’s taste and enough to accommodate for everyone. Not to forget the weather is often gorgeous. There’s nothing more pleasing then the sunshine in your face whilst riding the coasters and been able to fully embrace their water rides.
Something else we love about PortAventura is the sizing of their drinks. They don’t do large sizes like we do. Their beer is outstanding we love a cheeky Estrella. Not to forget how easy it is to get your hands on a toastie over there. There’s so much we adore about this park and it’s one we can’t wait to get back to one day soon.
But for now, we want to wish PortAventura the happiest 25th birthday and we can’t wait to get back to the park and experience the fab ride offerings.
