Introducing the latest arrival into Forbidden Valley… Toxicator… A brand new flat ride that’s the world’s first to sit at 78ft high and only one of two in Europe to be a double-sided topspin.
Situated in the location which once homed the last top spin ride Ripsaw but raised off the floor to allow it to be the world’s tallest at exactly 78ft. The story is ongoing from Nemesis Reborn and this ride is one additional piece to that puzzle. The Phalanx use this ride to pull and separate toxic salvia from the Nemesis creature. It applies a fierce spinning, centrifugal force to the saliva which turns it into a chemical solution so potent it will melt anything it touches.
This ride will be hosting around 500 riders per hour and will feature fountains that will be green-lit on both sides of the ride. Spectators can observe from below as riders test their thrill limits. Riders must be at least 1.4m to venture on this latest adventure!
From a personal perspective, it’s fabulous to see a new ride join the Alton Towers line-up. This space was vacant and then occupied by some of the retro squad. If this is the onset of those temporary rides getting permanent replacements then it’s a robust positive. I quite like the name given it’s something distinct but suits the theme perfectly. It’s safe to say I’m very excited to see this in person and even take a ride myself.
