We finally took the leap and got our Merlin passes back and the first on the list to visit was of course our local Sea Life Centre. Now Liara’s a little more aware and loves fish we couldn’t resist!
Heading into the Sea Life it seemed quite quiet for the last Sunday before the school return. This place never ceases to amaze me with how beautifully themed and detailed it is. From the lighting to physical theming pieces.
With any Sea Life there normally is something quite distinctive to that precise one. This Sea Life has the most lovely little North Sea Otters unfortunately for us we clocked their feeding times which made the area VERY crowded. So, we didn’t stick around too long. However, the rest of the attraction ended up being VERY quiet.
Something about this Sea Life which surprises me was just how brief it was. Literally took us around 30-40 minutes tops to finish the entire attraction with a steady stroll. I’m not sure if there are any parts closed but there wasn’t anything apparent shut-off. I am sure there used to be a 4D experience within the attraction? We got to the end and it was a little disappointing that it was it.
However, we had a lovely little family morning and loved watching Liara react to the fish & various aquatics. I definitely feel the across-the-board experience needs to be a tad bit longer than it is. But maybe that’s us.
Thank you for reading & we will catch you on our next adventure…
