Entering Blackpool’s Sealife with only a handful of other people’s insight was a rather bizarre but extremely relaxing experience.
Getting In:
We walked straight in to get our tickets scanned with not a soul around us. It was a very strange experience given we’ve only ever known this attraction to be exceptionally busy due to our usual visits. So, it was blissful to enter when quiet.
Theming & Decor:
It was very obvious how spooky & autumnal the decor was going to be throughout the attraction which was satisfying to see. But aside from the added seasonal decor the usual theming is always remarkable in here and there isn’t a room which isn’t beautiful to walk through.
The Fishes & Species:
Throughout our visit, it was very evident the fish and different species you can see all seemed to be quite healthy and happy. A lot had just been fed which was cute to watch. Their tanks were all clean and free of dirt. Something I love is the additional bits you can use such as the squeegee for cleaning the glass where it typically gets fogged up with condensation & the little magnifying glass you can collect from the ticket booth at the start. It’s really cool these additional bits are thought off.
The Duration:
It was so peaceful throughout we managed to complete this attraction within 30 minutes and that’s strolling along slowly too. It’s one of those which really does depend on your walking speed and if you stick around for any talks etc to whether it’ll take you longer.
Overall:
If I’m honest I’ve never really appreciated this Sea Life until this visit. I’ve never been to an attraction of this kind and felt so relaxed afterwards. It was a really soothing experience with how low the crowd levels were and how chilled out the entire attraction was. The ambient lighting definitely adds that nice chilled vibe for sure. Quite honestly if I visit another Sea Life anytime soon it will be during an off-peak day because they hit very differently. I loved how autumnal it was throughout and how all the different species we saw looked so healthy.
