A rollercoaster at Disneyland Paris that contains… intensity, inversions & speed? It just feels odd to even put those elements into the same sentence. But is this coaster Is that good though??
It’s a Disney park. When do they come with that kind of intensity and mind-boggling intensity? I have never actually known what happens on this rollercoaster never found that urge to watch any POVs or feel that desire to know what happens. Therefore, we headed on with an open mind to the perspective it’ll be somewhat the same as Hyperspace Mountain just Avengers-themed. Yet it felt like Hyperspace just ramped up to a 100. Ps, I’m completely here for the adrenaline rides for sure. I’m just confused about how this is a Disney rollercoaster. They are all so tame in comparison looking at the beloved Casey JR for an example.
I found the queue line theming is stunning. But on-ride not much is happening other than the odd screen. The said screen looked great but the coaster is far too wild to take in the story. Iron Man is extraordinary yet slightly freaky at how life-like it is. We were standing in the room when the show mode went off yet Iron Man was resuming to move like a human just without speaking. So strange.
To me, this ride is great and a lot of fun I love how I can get that thrill whilst still feeling in this magical bubble of Disney. The biggest fault I find with this attraction is the batching for the pre-show it’s chaos. You get loaded into a pre-show load but the amount of people that are put into this space makes it just awkward. You are all packed in together to then squeeze through the double doors into the pre-show. As you’re entering the pre-show is already happening you then have to fight your way through to stick with your group. Once the pre-show is done the backlog of guests is just more of an inconvenience than anything else. That area is what keeps the queue was so long. You barely move post-pre-show also. It doesn’t work in my opinion and it needs to be re-looked at to make it work reasonably & more freely.
As a rollercoaster though it is insane. Super intense too. There’s so much fun to be had and it blows my mind you have to take your bags onboard even though you go through inversions. Nevertheless, it’s a considerable quantity of fun and gives those who need a big thrill the chance to fulfil their appetite.
