Trip Report | Disneyland Paris September 2022

It was truly amazing to be back. It’s been a long 3 years of cancelled holidays and lots of tears but it finally happened & it was as magical as I had hoped it would be!

Heading through the gates onto Main Street USA I couldn’t help but sob with pure contentment. This place means the world to me. Headed straight to Phantom Manor and got my spooky fix. Meanwhile, can we appreciate how sensational this ride truly is there’s never a fault on it I’m convinced.

From Phantom Manor it was onto Pirates of the Caribbean. By now you should know my love for this ride after all I even wrote a love letter you can read HERE. It was just as amazing as I can memorise.

Next on our agenda was to watch the 30th anniversary show which was ace until the rain called it off midway through! But we managed to catch the next show anyway afterwards which was so much fun. The audio for this park is just flawless. There was something so precious about seeing such a variety of characters in one spac. Not to ignore the fact that the audio for this show just hits differently & sets off this deep sentiment of bliss yet gets me all teary. I don’t know maybe that’s just me?

It was then time for dinner which ended up being cafe Hyperion and a full review is to come. Then it was time to watch Disney Stars on Parade! This parade will never get old for me.  This is one of those parades are always fun to watch. Nothing particularly changed from the last time I saw it but that was okay in the same sense.

Onto a few more rides afterwards before embracing the Disney Illuminations which left me in floods of tears. These illuminations mean the world to me and remind me of when I got engaged to Ant. The Disney D Light pre-show was mind-blowing though. Who knew drones can be THAT cool?

All in all we had a lush trip to Disneyland Paris we spent the vast majority of time in the main park & still did not manage to complete it all.
