5 Free Things To Do This Summer in the UK

With the cost of living being stupidly high at the moment getting out & enjoying days out can be difficult for many families. Therefore, I’ve popped together some free places to visit & things to do this Summer! I’m hoping this will help anyone in need of ideas!

Natural History Museum – London:

It is insane to think this is free. By all means, you can donate to help keep this attraction in tip-top condition. This is a significant-sized attraction packed with so much to uncover & learn about. It’s something which will easily take up a lot of your day if you explore each room then I’d say you’ll have around 3 hours inside.

London Sight-Seeing:

London is such an iconic city to visit there is so much to see and spot. Therefore, a day dedicated to heading around to the landmarks you want to see in person could be a lot of fun. You could always try & see how many of these buildings & statues you can find in a day make it a fun little game!

Pull Out The Hat:

If you’re a dog owner like me I love doing this kind of thing. Typically I cut up & fold up multiple free places we can go or do together then pop it in a box and let Loki pull one out. It just makes it very exciting for us both. You could easily do this with your children too. Put in multiple things that are cost-effective then every Wednesday let’s say pull one out to do! It keeps the plans fresh every week.

Arts & Crafts with Recycling:

Empty pop bottles, cardboard or whatever you have in your recycle bin get them out & have some fun with them. It can keep your children or yourself even occupied for hours. Have a little competition with a small price at the end of it.

Visit Local Country Parks & Nature Reserves:

Being amongst nature & the outdoors is incredibly good for your mental health & wellbeing. Therefore, pop into Google your local free places to visit and no doubt there’ll be a ton pop up. So, if you own a dog grab them and go for a long walk & even if you don’t own a dog just get yourself out of the house for half hour each day & you’ll begin to feel better within yourself even if you didn’t realise you were feeling rubbish prior.
