Theme Parks - Themed Attractions

Let’s Talk About Viking Area Coming To Drayton Manor in 2022:

Another new season & another newly themed area. How phenomenal is this constant investment? We love to see it. So, today I thought I’d take the opportunity to sit and have a little chat over what can be expected from the area & my opinions on this bit of news!

Thor:

Thor is the brand new Disk’O ride to open at the park. It happens to be rather identical to Kobra over at Chessington World of Adventures in respect to the model. Although the site lists this as a “coaster track”… is it? I’m not sure. That just develops the whole controversy as to whether or not you count these rides as Creds. But all in all, it looks fun and there isn’t much to say about this kind of ride.

Loki:

The UK’s first Zamperla Nebular. It will be a lot of people first including ours. Of course, this new ride type looks to be fun fairly thrilling also. I’m sure it’ll be a tremendous addition to the already existing lineup of rides.

Sleipnir:

Something aimed towards those younger individuals is a brand new ride that will see guests go through a journey themed to a training school. It’s always nice to see the broader audience getting something and this fills that age of those who aren’t tall enough for the previously known Buffalo rollercoaster.

Jormungandr:

Many of us will always recall this as the Buffalo Mountain coaster. It has been a classic amongst the parks for so many years now. It’s delightful to see it has remained and not got left behind when thinking forward. I’m very enthusiastic to see its fresh theme and I am chuffed to see it implicated in the newest projects for the park. Long live the Buffalo coaster.

Walhalla:

A brand new restaurant is set to become a part of this area also. I can only comprehend this will be beautifully themed and will submerge guests into the full swing of feeling like a Viking!

Viking Themed Hotel Rooms:

Alongside the new area will see the hotel receive some Viking themed hotel rooms so your day doesn’t end at the park you can continue those voyages whilst stopping over. It’s a brilliant way to not let the fun end after a long day at the park and it’s the favourable way to rest up before heading back in for some more action!

Overall:

I think this is brilliant news & as someone who has adored the park for years & grew up alongside it, to me there’s nothing better than seeing the future looking so sharp. This new area occurs to be yet another incredibly themed not the too overpowering style of the area that’s only going by the concept art, of course. The addition of new rides is always a positive as it just enables guests to find more appeal to visit. Yet again another classic attraction is right at the heart of the project and continues with a fresher image, name & theme. The park’s future is looking nothing but glorious & I can’t help but feel fairly proud watching the park become the version it is evolving into. The team are all doing an extraordinary job so big shout out to you guys & we can’t wait to visit soon!
