Upcoming Events at Alton Towers in 2021

As we approach the 2021 UK theme park season Alton Towers have shared some details as to what we can expect when it comes down to events this year. All the information shared in this post is from a press release shared with us by the team at Alton Towers. We will update this as of and when further information is known for each event.

Alton Towers is set to open the gates to the theme park as of 12th April but is currently open for guest to walk around the beautiful gardens all information regarding this can be found HERE.

Mardi Gras:

The first event of the season is set to begin on the 22nd May-20th June. This event will allow guest to kickstart their summer in the first-ever event of this kind at Alton Towers. Guest can expect a carnival-style celebration and also enjoy high energy entertainment, sounds, colours plus so much.

Oktoberfest:

Returning again for the 2021 season after its success in 2020 we can expect Oktoberfest to take place from the 11th September-3rd October. It’s expected this event will be bigger and better than ever before. This event will allow guest to enjoy night rides, delicious foods and themed entertainment.

Scarefest:

The annual Halloween event Scarefest is set to return to another year! Guest can expect all kinds of spooks and thrills this season.

Fireworks:

Alton Towers fireworks are set to light the sky once again in 2021. Electrifying bursts, bangs and howls of fireworks alongside music, lights and live-action storytelling. It’s not an event to miss!

Christmas:

This Christmas guest can visit the brand new Towers Christmas markets and families can create brand new memories with the Santa’s Sleepover! This event is set to begin on the 27th of November.
