10 Things To Pack In Your Theme Park Bag – 2021 Edition

Ahead of the brand new theme park season for us brits, I thought I’d pop together a list of some key items to remember! By all means, these may be different for us all but I really hope this is helpful!

Face Masks:

Of course, the majority of the theme parks will sell their own versions of these and normal ones too. But I’d really recommend packing a few spares as if you are like us you’ll end up losing a few throughout the day!

Hand Sanitisers:

Although the parks offer this in various locations where they are needed they aren’t always the best! I always opt to carry my own regardless of where I visit. That way if any of the machines are out or if they are a bit smelly, I’m sorted by having my own.

Tickets/Charged Phone:

A lot of tickets have turned into E-Tickets now which means they are on your phone ready to scan. Therefore it’s quite important to ensure your phone is charged. If you opt to print out your own tickets then I’d pack them immediately.

Sunglasses/ Glasses Strap:

I need this one tattooed on my arm to remind me as I’m always forgetting my sunglasses haha! If your someone like Ant who needs to wear their glasses all the time because without them you are unable to see, I’d recommend getting a glasses strap from eBay. You can get these for a max of £2 and trust me they are so worth it.

Sun Cream:

Does anyone else sometimes get caught out by the weather sometimes? So, I now carry a small bottle of suncream whether I go so I don’t end up sunburnt!

Waterproof Foldable Jacket:

I invested for the re-opening last year in a regatta pack away jacket and it was the best investment I have made. It fits into small backpacks perfectly and I usually pack two for me & Ant. It is just so handy to have with you so if you ever caught up in horrific rain you are covered!

Money:

I tend to make sure I have both cash and card mainly due to the fact sometimes card machines could be down or in today’s little world a lot of places have gone cashless but some machines such as parking will accept cash. It’s always best to be prepared for both sources.

Plasters:

Goodness me the amount of times I have needed a plaster whilst at a theme park is unreal. So for this season I am packing a box of plasters in case.

Pain Killers:

An absolute must for me! You never know when your gonna need some pain killers. Especially if your going to be riding wooden rollercoasters, have you experienced a woodie headache? They are just the worst.

Bounty – Drayton Manor

I hope this is somewhat helpful to anyone with an upcoming theme park trip and perhaps forgotten what to pack because no doubt I will be checking over this list again beforehand haha.
