Gift Guide – Buying For A Theme Park Nerd Edition

Self-confessed theme park nerd here to make buying gifts a lot easier for the theme park nerds in your life. We aren’t as tricky as you may think we are to buy for, in fact, I’d say we are simpler than the average non-theme park nerdy person. Here is my guide and I hope you find it helpful!

Gift Cards:

The most simple but fab gift anyone could really ask for is a gift card. You can purchase these from online shops for the theme park you have in mind. Majority of the well known UK parks have a retail shop online. You’ll be surprised at how thankful someone would be to have this gift card as it could well go towards something they’ve wanted for a very long time.

A Personalised Gift Box/Gift:

Purchase a gift box and fill it with goodies of their favourite rides or ride. Almost everywhere offers a range of merchandise for their individual rides so put together a collection of goodies such as pin badges, magnets, flavoured rock or sweets, t-shirt etc. It is a really simple but thoughtful gift to show you know what they love! Also, a lot of parks now offer personalised gifts which can include glass coasters, notepad, travel mug etc. You can custom it to include their name with the background of their favourite ride or whatever you want to do really. If the theme park lover you are buying for has their channel then a custom gift including their name is always going to go down a right treat!

Prints:

Etsy is filled with a range of talented enthusiast sharing their artwork. I’d say whatever style you are after you can find there. I am someone who spends time drawing rollercoaster and theme park related prints (shameless plug) as well. My shop can be found HERE. But if my style isn’t what your after then I can promise you’ll find what you are looking for on Etsy, I’ll pop a link HERE to theme park prints search on Etsy! I promise you’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes down to this gift option and it’s always a rewarding feeling supporting small businesses.

Clothing:

Of course, you could always purchase official merchandised clothing from theme parks themselves. But there is also an incredible amount of more theme park clothing to be explored, for example, Cupcakes & Coasters has her own shop, Screwy Loops also have a clothing range for fellow theme park lovers and someone else who comes to mind is V-CRE8IVE. All of the mentioned will also have links to their shops on their names!

Theme Park Tickets:

A real simple gift option is opting for buying theme park tickets to somewhere they are intending to visit. If you book in advance across the majority of parks it’ll always be cheaper.

There is a brief gift guide to the things you could buy a theme park lover in your life. I hope this is somewhat helpful and if you’d like a part two to this blog, feel free to let me know!
