What’s Next For Drayton Manor??

Of course, you all would of saw the news regarding Drayton Manor been brought by Looping company. This company also owns West Midlands Safari Park & Pleasurewood Hills in the The UK, alongside a few different parks in Europe. So I thought I’d have a chat about what I’d like to see happen in the nearby future. Of course, this is simply my opinion, I’d love to hear yours!

I’ll begin here as many of you know how much Pirates Adventure meant to me. It is a key reason in why I become a enthusiast & why I do this now. So I’d personally love to see this building back in use with a boat ride of some kind. It doesn’t even have to be pirates themed it could well something else. Either way I’d love to see life brought back to this building!

Splash Canyon, of course I’m unaware as of the status to whether this is allowed to reopen or not. But let’s say it is allowed, I’d love to see it back in operation. It was probably the best rapids in the UK. Again even if it means changing the name or having a small retheme or H&S changing aspects so it can reopen. So be it.

I’m not someone who desires a brand new big thrill rollercoaster in all honesty. The likes of Accelerator is exactly why. I’d love to see a brand new family/family thrill rollercoaster open in G Forces place. Simply to fulfil the gap left by G Force and I think it would suit the park beautifully.

Something along the lines of a family wooden rollercoaster or launch would be beautiful. It would be the perfect balance for the family audience as well as the thrill. Some nice heavy theming around it, it would be beautiful.

I honestly believe this is a fab move in the right direction for the park. Of course, it’s sad it’s no longer a family-run business. But even so I’d rather see Looping buy the park then we loose the park. It holds so many fond memories for me I couldn’t even imagine my life without the place.

I don’t personally don’t believe there’s much needing to be done in regards to the current standing rides. I feel the dark rides have been bettered over the more recent years. The current line up is fab IMO just like the park is.

Going by the work we’ve seen at Pleasurewood Hills I genuinely believe this is a fab move. I reckon we could well see the park come on leaps & bounds within the next few years. But one thing for sure is the future is looking bright. Drayton Manor is a lovely park as it is so I think it could only get better from here!
