I was thinking the other day of things I’d love to experience at Alton Towers. Half of which if not all are VERY unrealistic but I thought it could be a fun read for you guys. I hope you enjoy!
I’m a huge fan of Duel as it is but I’d love to experience the entire ride with the house lights on. Simply to see each scene in it’s full glory with the lights on. Admittedly I would imagine it would be a little eerie too but also very interesting!
I’d love to have a guided tour backstage of each rollercoaster. Mainly to be a geek and see how they all vary in the ways of operations. But also to see how each ride op board is different or similar. I’d love to hear any facts about them all too.
I know Alton Towers rollercoasters aren’t necessarily the tallest but that’s exactly why I’d be interested (I’m quite scared of heights haha). I’d love to stand on top of Galactica/Airs lift hill and see the sights of Nemesis etc below it. Imagine the photos you’d be able to get from The Smilers lift of X Sector & surrounding areas. I do believe this used to be a thing a few years back actually.
I have always been so interested in what is inside storage across theme parks. I’ve always wanted to see the old signage that may be kept or props to past rides. Is that just me? Let me know!
This is all well and good considering I know it’ll probably never happen. But if it came to it I’d probably chicken out haha. I’d love a eerie full moon & cold evening sleepover inside the Towers. I can imagine it would be an experience to say the least.
I say this every close season but I’d love the chance to walk around the entire theme park whilst it’s closed for winter. Imagine seen the rides stripped down and the annual maintenance in full swing. I think it would be so interesting. I’d love for a winter behind the scenes opportunity.
What would you like to experience at Alton Towers? Whether it’s weird, random or something more common, let us know!
Thank you for reading!
Some amazing experiences!
