Yearly we visit the Merlin London Parks in September and do a little pro longed trip. As always we headed to the two family parks during off peak days and Thorpe Park on the Saturday. Here’s our brief trip report but we will be uploading full reports for each park gradually over the upcoming few weeks. We hope you enjoy and will be sharing our tips & tricks for booking a similar trip soon.
First park of the trip was of course Legoland. It was very quiet and almost every ride was walk on. We did expect it to be a little busier then it was given the amount of coach trips we saw heading in but turns out it was fairly quiet. Highlights from the trip were of course Haunted House Party & Dragon coaster both of which aren’t spoken about enough imo. Personally for me I think the Haunted House Party is my favourite UK dark ride.
We met up with our good friend Airtime John on Friday and spent the day around a Chessington World of Adventures. Again we parked in a further away car park which made it look as if it was very busy but truthfully it was dead. Every ride was walk on and minimum queues all day. We actually managed to go around the park two or three times. Every ride was riding really well and we noticed some changes to Tomb Blaster so we’ll write something up on that.
Sadly we only lasted a couple of hours it was little too busy for us and we didn’t have the best start to the day really. I ain’t going to write up a separate trip report for Thorpe Park sadly. We encountered some rude staff to kickstart the day and therefore it was a bit of a disaster.
We hope you guys have enjoyed this blog and be sure to keep an eye out for our two trip reports to come.
Thank you for reading…
