What a week for Pleasure Beach fans has been! It’s FINALLY confirmed the long-rumoured Intamin Gyro Swing! But it’s beyond the expectations we ever anticipated!
So, what do we know so far?
This model is equivalent to the likes of Loki at Liseberg. It’ll seat 40 riders and sit at a huge 138ft tall. In comparison the likes of Maelstrom over at Drayton Manor is a similar ride type however that seats 32 guests and height is 74ft. That’s a pretty hard contrast.
The ride has cost the park £8.72m and will be located on the former Bowl-A-Drome site! Sitting opposite river caves the theming seems to be along the likes of Icon.
The news that’s been rumoured for many years has finally come to life. It’s such a thrilling time to be a fan of Pleasure Beach as I don’t think the announcement will end just there! This attraction will open to guests next season and I can confidently say it’ll claim the best UK flat ride in a minute.
