10 Of Disneyland Paris’s Best Rides

The fact there are two parks to explore means it all tots up to a respectable amount of rides to experience at Disneyland Paris. These rides aren’t all aimed towards children & families they are quite honestly a wide mix for everyone to enjoy. Whether you’re looking for a bit of a thrill or something more delicate there is everything you can imagine to explore. So, here are 10 rides I believe are THE best at Disneyland Paris in no particular order (it’s too difficult to rank them).

The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror:

As you arrive at Disneyland Paris you can see this mysterious hotel lurking above the skyline and quite honestly it’s very captivating. It just makes you want to uncover more. Upon entering the lobby it’s apparent this isn’t any typical hotel there’s something quite creepy. You head into the elevator and your whole perspective is about to be altered. It’s that stunning mixture of spooky meets thrilling. It’s one of the few rides I’ve ever done that leaves me walking away beaming ear to ear and those endorphins are something else. It’s the ride that can put anyone in the best of moods afterwards.

Big Thunder Mountain:

You think of a Disney park & tell me one of your first thoughts don’t come down to Big Thunder Mountain? It is a true Disney gem. That western theme in the middle of the lake was filled with some wonderful theming during the indoor sections & more notably one long duration. It feels everlasting and that’s the beauty you can’t get enough of. It’s something for the whole family to enjoy together and that’s where your memories get made.

Ratatouille:

A modern style attraction that’s heavily based on screens without them feeling too much. Your senses will be filled with different elements to take in including the smells, the free movement of the trackless aspect & many other effects. You generally do feel like Remy racing around the kitchen confronting many mishaps and a cute happy ending. It’s fab and if you are someone who loves the movie you’ll fully admire this attraction.

Phantom Manor:

It has one of those facades that really does draw you in as soon as you see it. Once you are at those gates outside this Manor there’s something quite eerie about having to pass through the queue line that has graves dotted around. The way the door opens by itself to let guests enter is something else that just leaves that uneasy feel to it. Once inside the moment you step into the stretching room it’s hard to not immediately feel this is going to be fun yet quite the spooky experience. The fact the carriages are called Doom Buggies is just *a chef’s kiss*! Everything about this ride is quite literally perfection. It has that real ghostly vibe down to the tee whilst adding that sprinkle of Disney charisma to it too. I absolutely adore every inch of this ride from the impressive animatronics, audio, and pepper ghost scene! It just has it all.

Pirates of The Caribbean:

If you have followed me for a while you’ll know my everlasting diehard love for this ride. The happiness it brings me the moment I smell it and hear that exceptionally iconic soundtrack I’m just fulfilled. No Disney trip is ever complete without this ride. The scenes are immaculate and the story is easy to follow. Once you sit in that boat you are transported to this Pirate world that just gives nothing but mesmerizing scenes and you even end the seeing the main man himself Jack Sparrow (one of my favourite animatronics I’ve ever laid eyes on). Let’s be honest the audio will stick in your mind for days as I’m typing this it’s all I can hear.

Hyperspace Mountain:

Another Disney classic rollercoaster sat on the list. Heading into Discovery Land to see the beauty that is the ride building for Hyperspace Mountain you feel at the heart of a Disney park immediately. This rollercoaster is so much fun that launches upwards whilst having Star Wars blasted into your ears is quite epic. As much as I’d personally love to see the OG theme rather than the overlay I still can’t help but appreciate the mighty feeling deep down as you race around this track to nothing but a Star Wars theme tune. It’s disorienting & thrilling all in the same combination.

Crush’s Coaster:

I never expected to fall in love with this rollercoaster as I envisioned it to be somewhat tatty without being nasty. Yet I was pleasantly amazed by how cool those indoor section that almost felt like a dark ride was. The station is endearing as well and sweet on the theming element. Not to ignore the fact you sat in Crush’s shell whilst spinning your way through the ride. Queues are often quite rough for this attraction but it’s so much fun once you’re onboard. I thoroughly enjoy the experience of this one.

It’s A Small World:

The happiest cruise to ever sail. I love it’s the small world I know that’s controversial, of course, some people hate it. But I truly love passing through the various countries and cultures that have been portrayed hearing their language sing the iconic audio. I’m all here for the whole we are similar yet live differently through our cultures kind of vibe. It’s such an upbeat, radiant and wholesome idea that I simply adore.

Spider Man’s W.E.B Adventure:

A brand new arrival to Studios in more recent years and one of a couple of interactive dark rides. Having done comparable rides to this elsewhere this has to be one of my favourites. I love the responsiveness of the technology if you going to do a Spider-Man-themed ride what better way to do it than making you feel like Spider-Man? It’s truly a lot of fun and my favourite out of the two rides within Avengers Campus.

Snow White’s Scary Adventure:

Out of the classic dark rides within Fantasy Land, this is my firm favourite. I love the darker take on Snow White and it doesn’t hold back and it genuinely is really creepy to experience. I love the non-loving romantic take on the story with an emphasis on the Evil Queen. It feels quite retro throughout too with the animatronics being that tad older than some of the others you catch over on other rides and the ride system having that slide around each corner just adds so much to it. Iconic and quite frankly my favourite out of the classics.
