Any ride that has a theme that’s done in the right manner is often one I end up loving the most. There’s such a variety that comes from themed rides but today is focused on those wholesome, wholehearted and warm ones! I thought I’d sum it down to 3 so I won’t bore anyone with my rambling on.
It’s A Small World – Disneyland Paris:
I absolutely adore this little boat ride I love the vision of inclusion and the fact we’re all similar to one another but also that celebration of how we all live differently. It’s such a meaningful message for us all to take in and see one another as the same but also just educate on the cultural characteristics of the world. The ride is beautifully themed with so much to take in and admire. Yes, the audio is rather hit or miss you either love or detest it. But it’s a bright & joly themed experience that captures the world beautifully in my opinion. The assorted outfits, scenes and languages you hear are amazing! It’s a lot of fun with a sweet message.
Wallace & Gromit Thrill’o’Matic – Pleasure Beach
A true British TV classic is Wallace & Gromit. Having that incorporated into a ride was a true stroke of genius in my eyes. The ride recollects beautifully all the scenes we know & love across the full collection of Wallace & Gromit. It’s one of the best themes within Blackpool Pleasure Beach. It takes you on that familiar journey whilst having iconic snippets of audio from the scenes as well as that absolutely heartwarming classic Wallace & Gromit soundtrack. Not to forget the shop afterwards is any fan’s dream for sure. You also sit in Wallace’s Slippers. It really is something exceptional.
Adventure Ville – Adventure Island
I know a tad random but this is one of those rides I fell in love with as it’s cute. It’s practically like you are in a runway mine train kind of carriage yet you heading through cartoon kind of scenes of your local seaside. It’s a full party and celebration the two laps are different to one another which is really cool. You head around the first time all is quite ordinary next time it’s a full-blown party. The audio is also fab throughout this attraction. It feels rather retro which is the true charisma with a lack of 3D props but it just works so well. You’d be lying if you said you didn’t come off this with a big cheesy grin.
