With the more recent opening of Avengers Campus just under the nose of Tower of Terror it does make you wonder whether this attraction will remain the spooky essence it is right now or will the Guardians be taking over. I love Guardians of the Galaxy so much and I think their version of this ride over in California from the POVs I’ve seen looks lush. However, I really don’t want our TOT to be touched.
Heading into Walt Disney Studios there is only one place I head to first and want to be on instantly and that’s Tower of Terror. There’s no feeling like heading into the mysterious hotel lobby before into the library. The sensation doesn’t quite resemble anything else and your experience truly gets underway the second you enter through the entrance portal. It doesn’t end until you’re out of the exit shop either. There’s this sense of spookiness lurking as you move around the queue line and once you’re inside the pre-show you can’t help but feel a little on edge. We’ve experienced some incredible cast members with this ride who empathise with your experience altogether by putting their best acting on.
It doesn’t quite matter to me which level you enter the lifts on as they all provide such an unusual sensation regardless. I love how each video you get during each ride deviates and is never the same. It leaves that unsettling vibe of what’s going to happen. I’ve not once had two rides the same on here and we ride it quite a lot during our visits. Once you’re inside your lift shaft you are taken into the parallel galaxy of the Twilight Zone. What way are you going to head first? Who knows?
This ride is THAT ride I leave and I’m beaming ear to ear I’m filled with this joyful, happy, adrenaline-filled feeling inside me. It’s one of the few rides I know will always put me in a cheerful mood and make my day regardless. I’m not entirely sure why it does this but it truly is the happiest ride I’ve ever experienced. I have no doubt if it transformed into Guardians that feeling perhaps wouldn’t differ too much. But I definitely feel Disneyland Paris is not the place for that kind of re-theme. Tower as it is right now is one of the most powerful rides they have and any difference to it I do feel could potentially run the risk of losing that specialness for real
If we’re going to add anything Guardians related let’s add an additional bit onto the Campus and build something from scratch. But more importantly, something distinctive and not seen at any other Disney Park yet. It’s all well good Disneyland Paris continually getting clones from the other parks but they do deserve something unprecedented and unique to them in my opinion.

What do you think? Would you be happy to a re-theme or do you feel the same way as me?
Thanks for reading & I’ll look forward to reading your thoughts on the subject!
