Some may recall the loss of two iconic rides for the park one of which was Apocalypse & the other Pandemonium. Both of which sat somewhat near to one another meaning there’s a fair bit of room now available in the park. So, it seems they have since confirmed there’s something very exciting on its way!
So, what do we know so far? It’ll be a family thrill rollercoaster intended to open in 2024. Managing director as stated “it’ll be one of the best rollercoasters in the UK” which is a rather strong statement.
I guess the next question is what family thrills are there in the UK to set the expectations for this new rollercoaster & to answer that here are a few; Wickerman, Thirteen, Storm Chaser, and Velocity. So, the bar is already set relatively high and it’ll be fascinating to see what this ends up becoming.
I’m assuming for the 2024 opening going by what’s already been spoken of we will start to see some kind of activity to give us a teaser as to what will be happening. I would love to see some type of motorbike launch or even a wooden rollercoaster. I’m by all means not quite sure about the budgets available or the odds of either but whatever happens, it’ll be rejuvenating to see a new rollercoaster open at the park since the last one was when Ben 10 / Accelerator opened & that was a very long time ago perhaps 2011 I’d like to say?
