Rita – Alton Towers:
Intensity, airtime, speed & fun combined into one rollercoaster. It’s that ideal rollercoaster for anyone & everyone to enjoy. If you love a good punch of adrenaline in your bones Rita is for you. That snappy launch just works wonders.
Stealth – Thorpe Park:
Just like Rita except for faster & taller in size. You are up & over before you know it but those few moments with that feeling is incomparable. The lightness & airtime at the peak height is just something else. That launch is also immense and do expect your gut to feel as if it’s fell out from that initial race down the launch.
The Big One – Blackpool Pleasure Beach:
UKs current tallest rollercoaster with one of if not the best drop in the UK. The way it whips you over it as you feel as if your plunging downwards into the sea. The typical speed it carries across the course of the track is something which is quite surprising. Again there’s small pops of airtime nothing too out there like the two above. But it really does feel like it lasts forever but more to the point it is immense.
Thirteen – Alton Towers:
Spooky with a pleasantly disgusting surprise during the indoor sections. Without ruining it for anyone who isn’t aware there is a lovely ride amongst the woods until you enter the building. A simply world class ride without a single inversion it goes to show they aren’t needed. The story & theming to this coaster simply completes it effortlessly.
Cannonball Express – Pleasurewood Hills:
A coaster I don’t rave about much but really should. Like this is an actual gem in the UK. Cannonball Express is a proper plucky ride with so much to give too. It’s one of the most fun rollercoaster family thrills there is.
