Top 4 Food Outlets at Alton Towers

This is something which doesn’t get covered enough yet it’s pretty big part of your day if you eat on park or haven’t been before and wish to. We hope you enjoy this blog & you find it in some way useful! These are just our opinions and the places we enjoy eating at.

Just a quick disclaimer we are both fussy eaters and are obsessed with chicken. I do have dietary requirements where I can’t eat certain foods & have to drinks which full fat. I thought I’d mention this just in case anybody else relates and needs that small guidance. Feel free to message us if needed if you desire anymore information.

1) Hot Wraps opposite The Wickerman:

This is definitely the cheapest option and ultimate favourite too. They do pulled chicken and also do a vegetarian option. As for allergy requirements such as gluten free etc we aren’t 100% sure so we’d recommend enquiring beforehand. The wraps usually are enough to fill us up for the entire day but if we get peckish we usually head to burger kitchen for an ice cream. They are priced at £5.50 for non passholders but you do receive 20% off if your passholder.

2) Woodcutters located by Dark Forest:

Since the introduction of the Dungeon Burgers is when we’ve ate there more. For two people eating the burgers & two cokes with 20% discount it comes to £22. Honestly for the food quality and full fat coke it’s a bargain. The portion of food is more than enough and is very filling. Something we’ve noticed is the service is so fast we’ve sat down and ordered within 5/10 minutes are food has been delivered on our table.

3) Burger Kitchen at Cloud Cuckoo Land:

This is an outlet which is at majority of merlin theme parks except Thorpe Park. They offer pretty affordable meals with a fab bargain sides. The ice creams with flakes are literally our favourites. There’s usually a discount which makes them around a pound each.

4) Rollercoaster Restaurant:

The main reason for this food outlet been at the bottom of our list is sometimes it’s not at its best. We’ve had a handful of awful situations like people robbing our food that’s a real popular one, wrong food & food notes been ignored. However for this season we’ve had some more positive visits and are addicted to The Wickerman Stack. It’s very spicy, for anybody who isn’t sure I usually order it with the sauce in a separate pot. Mainly due to the fact I rather not waste food as it probably is too hot when covered in it. So I dip my chicken into the pot instead and make sure there’s no food wasted. There’s a little tip for you all who love spicy food but not to the level of death! But it’s definitely worth checking out and by all means not the cheapest option at all but you do pay for the experience in our opinion. The children’s menu is decent enough for anyone on a budget.
