It’s the first time in so many years we’ve left it this late to visit Pleasure Beach! It’s safe to say it was fab getting back at long last. So, here is how our trip went!
Getting In:
Pleasure Beach no longer has the scan tickets to enter it is all done on your phone with an e-ticket which you can add to your apple wallet which is always fab and handy. The queues to get into the park was non-existent and we arrived on the plaza at 10 to 10 and we walked straight in. It’s worth mentioning we did visit on a Sunday. But it was super easy to scan into the park though.
Queues:
If I’m honest the queues a lot smaller than we had expected. We queued around 30 minutes for The Big One first thing in the morning but they were taking out the sandbags during their morning test first thing in the morning which held the queue up a little bit. But most of the rides was running at maximum capacity which meant the queues were incredibly short.
The Rides:
If you know us we barely get many rides done we’re too chill to rush from ride to ride nowadays. But all of the rides we did do were running pretty damn fab.
Somehow managed to get convinced to do The Big One on the back two rows which was an experience. But the re-track has made a huge difference to that final bit of the ride. Big Dipper was running like an absolute dream especially on the freshly re-tracked section of track.
Overall:
I really missed Pleasure Beach perhaps a tad more than I had expected really. I definitely won’t be leaving it for so long until our next visit. It was just nice to be amongst the electric atmosphere again and see so many classic rides zooming around their tracks. It’s always a good day at Pleasure Beach!
Have you experienced the newly re-tracked sections on Big Dipper & Big One? I’d love to hear your thoughts on them.
Thank you for reading..
