7 New UK Rides You Have To Experience This Year – 2021

The UK has been blessed with some incredible new rides and attractions this year. Some of which I am getting around to experiencing myself. But today I thought I’d put together a list of those rides you don’t want to miss to make it easier for trip planning purposes. So without me waffling on, let’s get into this post.

Flight of the Skylion – Legoland Windsor:

Easily the best ride in the UK and the most mesmerising experience you’ll have. It is quite emotional on the first ride you’ll have as it is just so visually beautiful and impossible to not get lost within. This ride is the UKs FIRST flying theatre which is another aspect that makes it that tad more special.

Croc Drop – Chessington World of Adventures:

Chessington has opened an incredible ride combined with immense theming. Croc Drop is perfect for the entire family to enjoy regardless of your age and preference on drop tower style of rides. It’s far from intense but perfect in regards to the fun factor. I’d say to take a moment of ride and stand back to look at how gorgeously themed this attraction really is.

Gangsta Granny – Alton Towers:

It’s safe to say this is something that Alton Towers has needed and the entire area has had its spring back in its step again, which is always wonderful to see. Another lush attraction to open with some intensely themed scenes to enjoy throughout. It is a lot of fun to go on an adventure with Ben and Granny to steal the crown jewels with a few surprises along the way!

Blue Barnacle – Chessington World of Adventures:

Sitting in the location of the former pirate ship known as Black Buccaneer, we have a newer and fresher pirate ship known as Blue Barnacle. However, the surrounding has received new theming and the ride itself is lush and well worth checking out!

Storm Chaser – Paultons Park:

I’m yet to experience this rollercoaster but we are visiting in the upcoming few months. But from all, I have heard and seen this rollercoaster looks immense. I can’t wait to experience it for myself once and for all.

Black Mirror Labyrinth – Thorpe Park:

Another attraction that I am yet to experience that looks so much fun. This is a walkthrough style attraction rather than a ride but nonetheless, it looks like something that will be great to experience with your mates and have a good giggle about afterwards.

Cyclonator – Paultons Park:

Alongside Storm Chaser, there is also a brand new gyro swing that has opened known as Cyclonator and if you like me and love the likes of Maelstrom then I’m sure this is going to be our kind of thing. I am incredibly eager to experience this for myself at some point in the coming months.

There are some rides you don’t want to miss this year! I will update this blog post as of and when the brand new area at Drayton Manor opens as I’m confident this will be more than worthy of being a part of this list too.

Thank you so much for reading and be sure to let us know which of these you have or are planning to experience.
