Following yesterday’s press release regarding the opening of Tornado Springs at Paultons Park, I thought I’d put together a little ‘all you need to know’ style blog post. As someone who loves to have all information needed in one place, I hope this is somewhat helpful to you guys too!
So we officially know Tornado Springs officially opens on April the 12th 2021!
Paultons Park has invested a whopping £12 million into this brand new area which will feature 8 new and experiences for all the family to enjoy. The park has focused heavily on attention to detail throughout the entire area to ensure the best quality and to fully immerse all guest visiting.

Tornado Springs is set around the American heyday of the 1950s. The concept is exclusive to Paultons Park & aimed at all ages from young children at 3 years old all the way up the scale to adults. This something which Paultons Park is well known for as well as being known for being the UKs top family leisure destination.
New Rides & Attractions:
Storm Chaser:
Storm Chaser is the UKs first free-spinning rollercoaster of this type and also is manufactured by Mack Rides. Guest will hit a maximum height of 20m to then swirl around at some speed.

The Cyclonator:
A brand new Gyro Swing is set to open within this area as well. Seating 30 people at a time and hitting heights of around 25m, The Cyclonator is expected to be Paultons Park most thrilling attraction! This ride is themed on a wind-powered invention by the townspeople of Tornado Springs.

Al’s Auto Academy:
A driving school themed to a garage with a maximum of 30 cars available for younger guest to enjoy. This attraction will allow children and any accompanying adult to take a 1950’s styled car for a spin!

Other:
Alongside the 3 highlight attractions, there are another few rides to complete the line up of this area. These include twin family drop rides called Windmill Towers, Buffalo Fall water raft ride & Trekkin Tractors.

Restaurant, Shops & More:
Alongside all the brand new rides and attractions, also opening within this brand new area is a new 50’s themed restaurant called Route 83 diner. As well as the chance for the guest to own their own driving license and not to forget the opening of two new playgrounds called Parking Lots Tots & Junkyard Junction both targeted for different age groups.
