12th of April is looking like the light at the end of an extremely long tunnel. Therefore I feel we are all thinking of where we hope to visit first, myself included! I thought I’d share a few of these top reasons to visit different UK theme parks and starting with the one I love dearly and is our home park, Drayton Manor.
Unique/Fab Rides:
Drayton Manor is actually home to some unique rides, especially for the UK. Shockwave instantly pops into my mind when talking of this. The UKs only stand up rollercoaster. Regardless of what you hear or read about this rollercoaster honestly, it’s worth experiencing at least once. The front row is the best row to experience Shockwave! Apocalypse stand up no floor (assuming all rumours are untrue or at least it’ll be operating this season). I haven’t personally found my lady balls to do this yet but I can imagine it’s immense as every other tower if not better. Other rides which I feel is 100% worth visiting for are The Haunting, although I’m not sure whether this ride may open with the park due to the COVID safety when it does reopen you have to experience it! Accelerator, Maelstrom and Bounty all of these rides are FAB. Basically, Drayton Manor has an incredible ride line up with a whole load of staple rides that you guys MUST experience this year!!
The Zoo:
I have an enormous amount of love for the animals in this zoo. A lot of them have been there for years, so I love visiting to see their cute little faces again! It’s so rare you’ll walk around this zoo and not see some kind of improvements or changes happening, Drayton takes an incredible amount of care, love and pride within their zoo. The animals always look healthy and happy plus they are supported by the conversation funds. So as an animal lover like myself it fills me with such warmth to see the zoo grow and go from strength to strength. When we own season passes we sometimes nip to the park simply to have a zoo day!
Affordable But Quality Day Out:
Drayton Manor is one of the most affordable theme parks in the UK and the quality of the pricing is mind-blowing. You can often find even better deals too for families/larger groups. If your local the season pass is something I can’t recommend enough.
Events:
I’m a sucker for the fireworks and Christmas event at Drayton Manor. I have reviewed both events before on my blogs so feel free to have a read through them!
The Atmosphere and Must-Try Foods:
Maybe this blog should of being called 6 reasons rather than 5? Never mind haha. The atmosphere at this park is one of my all-time favourites, it has such a warm homely vibe. As much as I love themed audio I also adore the charts music as it just adds this real feel-good atmosphere across the park. Also, you have not tried theme park food until you eat at Drayton Manor. The food is something else and the quality across every single food outlet there is at the park is immense. In fact, if I don’t stop raving about their food I’ll be here forever talking about it haha.
Basically, if you haven’t visited before or in a long while then you definitely should head to Drayton Manor this year.
Thank you for reading as always and let me know if you have a trip planned!
