I’m all against getting sucked into the hype train when it passes. However, when you see certain coasters get THAT hyped over social media it’s almost impossible to not expect a certain level of god tier. Therefore I have a few coasters that I am now pretty much afraid of riding in case I find them disappointing. I always try to remain open-minded but I feel this sense of worry is something to write about. Let me know if you feel the same way about any coaster!
Taron – Phantasialand:
I have no other place to begin than with Taron. This coaster has so much praise and hype surrounding it that I am slightly concerned I might not feel the same way. Of course, that’s fine. But in my head, it’s being sat in god tier expectations since it’s opening in all honesty. It doesn’t help to the fact it physically looks stunning from all the photos, videos and whatnot. I wonder when I finally ride & re-visit this whether I am in the right position to feeling so concerned!
Untamed – Walibi Holland:
If I’m honest I don’t feel I can blame the majority of this feeling towards seen the hype as such, because I’ve been banging on about riding this coaster for ages now. Maybe I’m doing the damage to myself? I’m not sure. Either way, I am very scared in case it just doesn’t live up to what I expect it too.
The Ultimate – Lightwater Valley:
Honestly, I’ve heard soo many people lately bang on about how fab this coaster is. Which don’t get me wrong it does look pretty decent but I’ve started to slip into the mindset of expecting good things. Although for a long time I sat in the frame of mind of its going to be brutal. Hopefully, I’ll be able to acknowledge this again some point this year after riding to fill you into how I found it! – UPDATE; I’m not even 100% sure anymore that we will get the chance to experience this coaster anymore… So I ain’t sure whether it still counts.
Expedition Everest – Animal Kingdom:
Now I genuinely do expect big things from this. The fact it’s located at a Disney park genuinely just sets that tone for me anyway. I feel pretty much everything Disney do is usually god-tier anyway. Therefore I expect this to be absolutely beautiful… I could be wrong that’s what scares me!
Hagrid Motorbike Adventure – Universal Islands of Adventure:
Now let’s be honest this has so much hype surrounding it, it is impossible to not get sucked in especially after watching POVs and what not. Genuinely this coaster looks insane and I am excited to one day experience it but I do fear in case it disappoints.
