So in 2018 we flew out to Salou to experience PortAventura World. It was a fab holiday and a really lovely park. There’s of course a few things which come into account when discussing the answer to this question. So let’s have a chat!
We visited during the first week in October and booked a 5 day period. The first & last day consisted of travelling therefore we had 3 days inside the park. It was of course Halloween season but the park was surprisingly quiet for that season. So from this experience you honestly need a day to explore the entire park including Ferrari Land as we managed to do it all within a day. But we did purchase the discounted hotel guest unlimited fast track. But even without that I still reckon we could of managed both parks in one day.
Just like our DLP version of this blog post. Time of year will of course be a key part of the answer. If your visiting during their peak times you’ll probably need 2 days to complete the two parks. Of course Ferrari Land is more of an area then a park. There’s a very little amount of rides inside and can be easily done on a half a day job. Whereas the main park has so much to offer and could well need 2 days to do it all.
Again if your staying onsite we’d highly recommend the €70 fast track. It’s very beneficial and can maximise how much you get done during your time on park. If you choose to visit during longer opening hours your always bound to fit in a few more rides then basic 10-5.
Personally we’d recommend a minimum of 2 days to ensure you have the chance to get all you want done. By all means if you visit during off peak you may be able to get away with 1 day visit. But if your onsite within the hotels definitely purchase the fast pass it’s an incredible price & system.
