So last month we visited Disneyland Paris as I’m fairly confident your all aware off. I thought it could be somewhat useful for anyone trying to decide where to stay. So here’s my review from our stay at Hotel Cheyenne. I hope this blog is helpful and you all enjoy it.
This hotel is definitely one of the cheaper options especially when we were booking. Checking in was very simple as we arrived at around 10am but check in wasn’t suppose to 3pm. However our room was ready upon our arrival which was very helpful. The staff were fab and spoke very good English.
Something which we struggled with when visiting PortAventura was the understanding of Bus Plana. However this couldn’t of been anymore simple. Within reception area there’s a timetable for both airports CDG & Orly. The bus stop is right outside the entrance and the shuttle service from the airport couldn’t of been any better.
This hotel has a lot to offer including meet & greets for the morning before breakfast. During our stay the queues never got too manic and timings were made very clear as well. There’s also a shop which sells majority of things from the main parks which was helpful for us. End of each day we would go in and grab whatever we wanted. You can also have whatever you purchase from Disney Village & parks sent to the hotel shop. The park I believe was a 20 minute walk away from the hotel however we didn’t need to walk once as the shuttle service was very helpful. They were regular and again simple to catch.
Personally I didn’t enjoy the food within this restaurant and by end of our holiday we began eating elsewhere. I will share a food related blog from a fussy eaters point of view shortly. Don’t get me wrong some of the food in this eatery was pretty nice but the selection wasn’t too great and hardly changed nightly. Staff couldn’t be faulted again they were all super friendly and welcoming. If you do wish to eat here make sure to pre book your time slot at the desk in reception area.
It’s exactly what you see when booking. The bed was pretty comfortable and heavenly especially after long days worth of walking. TV size was fairly large and of course it had Disney channel but we barely used the TV as we were always too knackered. Our room was spacious and had everything you’d need really including a hairdryer ladies! Toiletries were also provided and added in daily from the cleaners which is always handy especially if you don’t fancy taking your own. The bath definitely smaller than the average household bath but definitely better then Travelodge bathes. Other than that the room was exactly how it looked whilst booking and was everything we wanted.
The overall Hotel complexion was pretty decent. I think I preferred it to PortAventura Gold River Hotel. We barely spent much time within the area except for our last day were we embraced on a delicious Starbucks before leaving. The staff were absolutely lovely all the way round. Other than that I will be uploading a food related blog post very soon in regards to my preferences and opinions as we are both pretty fussy eaters. If your looking to do Disneyland Paris and not wanting to pay an arm & leg I’d highly recommend this hotel. Even if your willing to pay a lot honestly for the amount of time your likely to spend in your hotel just go for the cheapest option as it’s still top quality.
I hope this blog is in some way helpful & useful for anyone wishing to book a holiday or in general really. If you have any questions feel free to comment below or across our socials I’ll try my best to reply the best I can.
