Blackpool Pleasure Beach have released their 2024 season passes which now offer different types. So, let’s go over all the options, what they include, their prices and if I think it’s good value.
Spring Season Pass – £89.99
The Spring season pass allows you admission to the park every day between the 29th of March and the 31st of May. This is 9 weeks / 63 days of unlimited entry. Of course, this doesn’t include any discounts across the park which will be the same for the Summer pass too. But typically the price to enter Pleasure Beach for one visit is anywhere from £35 to £50 depending on whether you buy online or at the gate.
Summer Season Pass – £89.99
Comparable to the Spring pass this allows you unlimited access from every day in July & August. If you are a family who lives locally to Pleasure Beach and wants something to do within the summer months this could be fantastic. Again it’s around 8 weeks’ worth of access which is great! If you fit two visits in a week going by gate price only you would save £20 a week at least.
Platinum Season Pass – £139
This is the ultimate season pass with a day-free visit to 6 different European parks. Unlimited access for the whole season including the months that aren’t part of the above passes. A spectrum of discounts across retail, selected food outlets, golf etc. Includes access to events such as Late Night Riding & Fireworks. Ultimately with the current pricing, I’d say this is your best bet in regard to the passes given how much extra you receive. You’re not limited to the 8/9 weeks of visiting you have the entirety of the season. If you are someone who travels to Europe for theme parks a lot check out the parks included in the offer. At the moment there’s only a £49 difference in costs which is efficiently earned back with the whole of the season on offer to visit.
Other Potential Passes:
These passes spoken of below are ones we’ve seen introduced for the 2023 season which I’d presume will also be brought into the 2024. This isn’t confirmed just speculation.
Hot Ice Show Pass:
During the 2023 season, Hot Ice had its own season pass for guests to enjoy the show every day of its operational showings excluding a couple of dates. It was priced around £87 which is adequate value if you visit often enough to make it worthwhile as a single ticket to the evening show was around £18-£35 depending on your seats. It’s uncertain as to whether this pass will return for next year and what kind of pricing it be at. But it’s worth mentioning in case
Autumn Season Pass:
This was the first of the tiered season passes to be shared and it was for the 2023 season. It’s yet to be announced for next season so all the information is for this year. This pass is priced at £99.99 and it includes entry for any day in October & weekends in November plus access to Journey to Hell without any limitations. Journey to Hell is a Halloween event that’s an upcharge from your day entry tickets. So automatically if you love Halloween this is quite good value depending on how often you intend to visit!

Are these new passes good value?
Quite honestly I do think they are reasonable value at the pricing they are at now. Perhaps if they were to rise nearer to next season then maybe that wouldn’t be the case. But if you’re someone who generally is only going to visit the park during the select months on the seasonal passes then that’s incredible. Typically the pricing for day tickets is anywhere from £35 to £50 depending on how you purchase them (online or on the day). The Autumn pass including Journey to Hell is a brilliant idea to make the shorter dates for the pass more appealing in my opinion. For me, I’d always stick to the Platinum season pass given the entire season is available to visit as well as the other perks like discounts etc. It’s very dependent on your circumstances as to whether you can make these passes good value I think it’s a great idea to offer these types of passes with those select dates as not everyone is able to visit across the entire season. It’s a great way to make the park more accessible to as many people as they can with a fair price tag.
